We step into a New Year. A year which is still untrodden, like the ground covered with freshly fallen snow. A blank sheet, and we can write our own story on it. The month of January is named after the two-faced Roman god of new beginnings, Janus. Janus looks into the future and into the past.

January is a winter month in the northern half of the world and a summer month in the southern half. Two-faced, hot & cold. Fire and ice.
